Judy Bailey is a fixture in the Sewickley Business District. She has owned and operated boutiques in The Village since the 1970’s. Her current venture, Soho, is a fantastic little boutique full of one of a kind finds. Operated by Judy, her daughter Brooke (who has worked side by side with mom for 20 years), and Lori Wade; Soho marked its 12th year anniversary by moving into a new space on Beaver Street. The original Soho had roughly 500 square feet which was filled to the brim with treasures and customers alike. If more than a half dozen people were in the shop at one time, Judy would have to leave through the back door, go around the dumpsters and through the business next door just to get back in her own front door! The new space offers even more to see in 1,300 square feet of cheerful, bright space as well as room for strollers and the dogs that are always welcome. A few important things remain the same: the eclectic style, a strong focus on independent designers, the ambiance and the Soho mission to make all customers feel comfortable and welcome. The offerings at Soho include women’s jewelry, clothing, and accessories. Shoppers will find everything they need for a unique daytime look or a night out on the town. Just a sample of their featured lines will show names you know and names you will want to get to know: Johnny Was, XCVI, Neesh by DAR, Planet, Habitat, BKG sweaters, Chan Luu, and Eyebobs.
