Explore Sewickley is proud to present the 4th Annual Sewickley Oktoberfest! The Division Street parking lot will turn into a German bier garten, complete with a 5,000 square foot tent. Enjoy a well-appointed festival atmosphere with delicious food and authentic German beer provided by the Sharp Edge and Vecenie Distributing Co., toe-tapping live German music from The Barons and the Mikey Dee Band, and tons of activities - from lively beer-stein-holding competitions and a Cornhole Tournament to costume contests, the infamous Dachshund Dash and more!
Sewickley Oktoberfest the main fundraiser for Explore Sewickley, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the Village of Sewickley thrive. Explore Sewickley, a designated Main Street organization, focuses on marketing, business development, and revitalization, as well as coordinates many of the local events.

Parking is available in the Green Street parking lot (behind Bruegger’s Bagels) and there is metered parking. Starting at 5pm on Friday, parking is FREE all weekend.

Afternoon Session: 11am - 4pm. The Afternoon Session is for kids of all ages!

Evening Session: 5pm - 10pm • 21 years and older • Musical Entertainment by The Barons. We love The Barons! They're back for the third year at Sewickley Oktoberfest. You can often find them partying and performing their German repertoire at Pittsburgh’s Teutonia Männerchor.

VIP Package with Commemorative Litre Mug ($30.00) Be a VIP and don't stand in line for your beer! This package includes admission to one Sewickley Oktoberfest session, a commemorative liter mug, exclusive access to liter beer pricing, and special promotions at participating Sewickley businesses. This ticket may be used on either Friday, Sept 30 or Saturday, Oct 1.
Friday Evening Session ($10.00) The Friday evening session is from 5-10pm and features musical entertainment by The Mikey Dee Band. 21+ only.
Saturday Day Session ($10.00) Saturday, October 1st - Afternoon Session – 11:00am – 4:00pm - All Ages. The Afternoon Session is for kids of all ages! The Cornhole Tournament will be during the session (separate entry fee) as well as The Dachshund Dash.
Saturday Evening Session ($10.00)The Saturday evening session is from 5-10pm and features musical entertainment by The Barons. 21+ only.
All Access Pass (all sessions) ($20.00)This ticket gets you access to all three sessions for a reduced price!
Cornhole Tournament Team Entry (2 people) ($50.00)Do you have what it takes to be the Cornhole King/Queen? Enter the Cornhole Tournament and compete with the best of the best. Double elimination tournament with great prizes for the top 3 teams! Tournament will start at noon. Team entry includes admission to festival tent.
Dachshund Dash - One Dog Entry Fee ($5.00)Got a wiener who loves to run? Enter him (or her!) into the Dachshund Dash! We'll see who's crowned the Speediest Wiener in Sewickley (or at least who can make it to the finish line). Prizes for top 3 winners!
We will be raffling off an Franziskaner bicycle at the event. Purchase your raffle tickets at Explore Sewickley or at the event. The winner will be picked at the evening session on Saturday, October 1st. Winner not need to be present to win.We will also have a 50/50 raffle at each session.
Is there an age limit? The Friday night and Saturday night sessions are 21+ only. The Saturday day session from 11-4pm is all ages. Tickets are $10, under 12 is free during the Saturday day session.
How will you be able to tell if someone is under 21? We will be checking EVERY ID at the entrance to Sewickley Oktoberfest. Everyone ages 21 and over will be given a color coded wrist band.
If I buy a ticket for admission on Friday, do I have to buy another ticket on Saturday? Yes. There will be different colored wrist bands each session.
How about re-entry? How does that work? If you need to leave the Oktoberfest grounds during your session, you must receive a stamp at the admission table.
Who benefits from Sewickley Oktoberfest? Everyone! It’s going to be so much fun! But in all seriousness, proceeds from the event will benefit Explore Sewickley, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of the Sewickley community.
What kind of food will be there? We’ll have all kinds of Oktoberfest favorites, like bratwurst, kielbasa, and pulled pork sandwiches (with or without sauerkraut), potato pancakes with apple sauce and sour cream, homemade pretzel knots, and more!
Can I use a credit card? This is a cash only event. There are many ATM machines near the Oktoberfest tent.
